Calvary Baptist Church is an elder-led congregational local church. We believe that Christ is the head of His church and that He has given us clear instructions in Scripture for how the local church is to be led and governed. Our team of elders is made up of biblically qualified men who are called to shepherd, teach, lead and protect the church (1 Timothy 3:1-7; Titus 1:5-9; 1 Peter 5:1-4). Elders lead the church by faithfully teaching/preaching God's Word, caring for its members, equipping the saints for ministry, and helping the congregation pursue Christ together.
