We are a local church in existence since 1963 with one overarching purpose: to glorify God by growing together in the grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ. We come from different backgrounds and walks of life but what unites us as a church family is THE GOSPEL: the good news of what God has done in His Son, Jesus Christ, to save us from our sin and its consequences and to reconcile us to Himself. This is what now fills our lives with much praise, joy and passion toward the one true and living God of the universe.

WORSHIP SERVICE
Every Sunday morning at 10am, we gather at 231 Bayfield Road in Goderich to worship God together through music, singing, Scripture reading, praying, the preaching of the Bible. We express our unity in Christ by celebrating the Lord’s Supper (first Sunday of every month) and through baptisms. We regularly enjoy a time of fellowship in our church foyer following the service. This gives us the opportunity to interact with each other over a cup of coffee and some goodies.

HOW LONG IS THE SUNDAY SERVICE?
Our worship service typically lasts between 75-90 minutes.

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
At Calvary Baptist we do not require a specific dress code to attend our Sunday services. We encourage you to wear what you feel comfortable wearing—bearing in mind that God is glorified in our modesty.
WHAT MINISTRIES ARE AVAILABLE FOR CHILDREN ON SUNDAYS?
For children ages 0-4 years old, we provide a nursery facility equipped with a live-stream of our worship service. Our nursery is staffed with our wonderful ministry volunteers every first and third Sunday of the month.
Children ages 5+ participate in corporate worship with their parents. Prior the start of the service, one of our ushers supplies them with a 'Kids Bulletin' so they can be actively engaged throughout our gathering.
